Nutritionist's Take
NOW Foods Colostrum 500 mg offers potential health benefits such as support for immune function, gut health, and overall wellness due to its naturally occurring immunoglobulins and lactoferrin. These components are known to enhance the immune system and provide antimicrobial properties. The product is suitable for vegetarians, making it accessible to those with dietary restrictions. However, some nutritionists advise caution, noting that while colostrum supplementation may benefit certain individuals, its effectiveness can vary. Additionally, those with dairy allergies may need to avoid it, as colostrum is derived from milk. Overall, while it can be a valuable addition to a health regimen for some, it should not replace a balanced diet or be viewed as a cure-all.
NOW Foods Blended Vitamin & Mineral Supplements 3214 Editorial Review
This colostrum supplement is made from %85 grass-fed cows and is considered lactose-free. It is sourced from North America and cruelty-free. Its concentration of lactoferrin is not clear since it is in dried form, but another brand has 7mg of lactoferrin per 800mg of colostrum. Reviews indicate that it helps gut health, improves immune system, and prevents flu, as well as partnering well with antibiotics for yeast infections. It is considered expensive and not useful for some buyers.
