Steelman Spark Plug & Ignition Tools 08310R Editorial Review
The Steelman 08310R Flexible 12-Inch Spark Plug Starter has received mixed reviews from customers. Some users found it helpful for accessing hard-to-reach spark plugs, especially in situations like working on a 150 HP Mercury engine or a small block Chevy with headers. However, there were multiple reports of the tool breaking easily and being difficult to remove once broken. The design of the tool was also criticized for the swivels popping apart when bent sharply. Additionally, some users found that the plastic parts that allow the tool to bend changed the axis of the plug rotation, causing threading issues. Overall, the concept of the tool was praised, but the poor engineering and cheap construction were disappointing for many customers.
