EACHSHOT Shoe Mount Flashes TT685II-C for Canon Editorial Review
The GODOX TT685II-C Flash for Canon has earned a solid reputation among photographers seeking a reliable and budget-friendly speedlight. Users commend the flash's impressive performance given its price point, stating that it offers light output comparable to premium models, including Canon’s own 600EX RT II, while being significantly more affordable. With a power output of 76w/s, it is noted for effectively handling scenarios like daylight fill flash, making it a versatile option for various shooting conditions. The TT685II-C supports TTL functionality and is equipped with Godox's efficient 2.4GHz wireless system, enabling seamless operation with other Godox devices. Users appreciate this integration, particularly when using multiple flashes. However, some users mentioned that while the four AA batteries provide decent power, they do not last as long as the batteries in the pricier V1 and V860III models, and noted a slower recycle time. For optimal performance, many recommend utilizing rechargeable batteries. Though the flash includes a quick release lock, not all users are fond of this feature due to its lack of tension adjustment. There were also mentions of the absence of an LED modeling light, which some felt could enhance usability in low-light environments, although this is not seen as a major drawback. The TT685II-C is praised for Consistent light output and stable color temperature, which is crucial for professional work, even if not as Consistent as Godox's higher-end models. A particularly appreciated feature is the channel scanner, which helps mitigate interference when multiple Godox users are present. Ultimately, many users feel confident using the TT685II-C in professional settings, often choosing this product over more expensive rivals without reservations. **
