DMT (Diamond Machining Technology) Sharpening Stones D8C/X Editorial Review
DMT DMTD8ME/EE Dia-Sharp Bench Stone Diamond Knife Sharpener features medium X-Fine and XX-Fine grits of 4000 and 8000, allowing for an exceptional sharpening experience. The non-slip design ensures stability while sharpening, and its dimensions of 8" x 3" x 0.38" provide ample surface area for efficient blade sharpening. This stone is made for seasoned users and demands a refined technique for optimal results; many experienced sharp users particularly appreciate its ability to refine edges to a mirror polish with excellent cutting capability. Users have noted that while the 8000 mesh side provides a fine finish, the 4000 side requires a break-in period for best results. Although some users have reported cosmetic issues like pits and dings, the stone’s performance remains outstanding, making it a recommended choice for serious sharpening enthusiasts.
