Paranormal Editorial Review
**** "The Dreamer" marks the second installment in the "Wolves of the Northwoods" series, and it successfully builds upon the foundations laid by its predecessor. Readers have praised AJ's ability to weave a high-energy narrative that balances action, character development, and emotional depth. The story, set against the backdrop of a conflict rekindled after a century of peace between vampires and wolf shifters, engages readers with its fast-paced plot and well-developed characters. Fans of the first book will appreciate the return of familiar faces while also being introduced to new characters, offering a refreshing expansion of the storyline. The author is commended for making every character feel real and individual, even those appearing in minor roles. Despite the numerous plot twists and complications, readers find the narrative easy to follow, showcasing the author's impressive storytelling talent. Content-wise, "The Dreamer" maintains a clean narrative with non-graphic depictions of violence and a guarded approach to romantic intimacy. This aspect has been well-received, particularly among readers who prefer stories that do not delve into explicit scenes. However, some readers have noted the youthful age of the main characters, which may put off those seeking more mature themes, leading to debates over the series' classification—whether it's intended for a young adult audience. Overall, the feedback indicates a highly enjoyable reading experience, with many eagerly anticipating the next book in the series. Fans of supernatural tales and shifter lore will find much to love in this engaging continuation of an exciting saga. **
