Answer: The tool less EC-TFNB version is using JMS583 chipset. -

Will this be recognized on a Thunderbolt 3 port, and function at 3.1 gen 2 speeds? Thanks.
Answer: Yes, I have one connected to my 2017 MacBook Pro with Thunderbolt 3 and it is running at 3.1 (10Gb/sec) speeds. -

Does the fastener made of rubber?
Answer: No it’s made of metal. -
Question:
Says it is very easy to swap drives. How is this possible with the sticky thermal tape?
Answer: It is pretty easy the tape is sticky but it will let go and there is no residue. -
Question:
Does it support 4TB?
Answer: I use it with 1 Tb drive but It allows to use double sided drives. And this is a big chance that it will support 4 Tb. -
Question:
Does this work with oem samsung nvme ssds, i.e. sm951?
Answer: I have two Samsung drives in my enclosures and have had no issues with conflicts. I would suspect they would work with all MVMe M.2 drives. -
Question:
Is a loose usb port normal? i make sure i insert it all the way until i feel the tension, but it disconnects very easily because it slides out!
Answer: The metal enclosure is too thick to get a good connection on the USB port. I ground down the casing around the port about 1mm and now the USB fits perfectly. -
Question:
Do these enclosures present the disk to Windows 10 as a removable drive or a local drive?
Answer: Shown as usb device and can see it in Acronis clone drive after new SSD initialized in Windows 10. You can download Acronis image tool from Sabrent site. It’s easy to use and save your time with this enclosure. -
Question:
Are the cables provided able to reach USB 3.2 speeds as well?
Answer: USB 3.2 is just a standard where USB 3.2 gen 1 means USB 3.0 in old notation. And USB 3.2 speed is different and depends on generation. -
Question:
can I use this to clone my system from a 4 TB system?
Answer: Yes, you can use it, kindly remember that you will need to use a 4TB drive inside the enclosure.
