    Answer: You need 2 original factory keys to learn the key code to the module; cloned or copied keys will not work.
  • Question: Is technical support available if I have installation issues?

  • Question: After starting the car remotely, can I drive like that or do I still need to restart by inserting the key?

    Answer: You will need to insert your vehicle's ignition key into the ignition and turn it to the run position before driving the vehicle. The remote start only allows you to start the vehicle remotely it does not replace the need to use your vehicle key to drive the vehicle.
  • Question: I have an extra key that I purchased and had programmed at a Ford dealer. Will this work as an 'original' key?

    Answer: Yes, that key will work.
  • Question: Can factory fob be programmed for LUL(lock unlock lock) instead of lock lock lock for remote start?

    Answer: No, this is set up to start lock 3 times.
  • Question: Will this work with a 2016 Ford Focus?

    Answer: Ask MPC. They will give you the model you need. That's what I did.
  • Question: How do I know if my keys are original, and not cloned or copied? Thanks

    Answer: You really don't know if you bought the car used.
  • Question: Do you have the ability to also start with factory fob? if so, can it be programmed as lul? ?

    Answer: It can be programmed to the factory fob but not sure what lul is?
  • Question: How do I go about getting 2 original factory keys?

    Answer: Any local locksmith or dealership can make and program 2 keys for your vehicle.
  • Question: Do I need extra key for this work for remote start?

    Answer: The instructions tell you two keys are needed. And they must be two separate keys. You can't just 'clone' a duplicate key. The car computer has to recognize two different keys during the programming. If you only have one you have to go to a dealership to get a spare key cut and programmed.
  • Question: Is there a video installation guide available for this? the ones i've seen are all for the model that uses the factory key fobs and not the remote rf

    Answer: I would not try to install another one of these again. Either you are piercing important wires or using a poor quality wire harness. You are one short from replacing your ECM or BMC.
  • Question: Can the 2nd key be a valet key (without the buttons)? We only have one of each type.

    Answer: We bought this for a family member and I really didn’t look at it. Sorry.
