SAMSON Dynamic Microphones DK705 Editorial Review
The Samson DK705 Drum Mic 5-piece Kit by Samson Technologies has garnered a range of opinions from users, particularly musicians and sound technicians. Primarily noted for its affordability, the kit performs adequately for various contexts such as rehearsals, church events, and live performances. Many users find its sound quality decent relative to its price point, making it an appealing option for those on a budget who do not require professional-grade equipment. Despite its strengths, the kit has some drawbacks. Users have reported issues with the mic clip holders, which are made of rigid plastic and can be challenging to set up, particularly on certain drum models. While many appreciate the microphones' ability to capture sound effectively, there are mentions of a less-than-optimal sound quality in certain situations, indicating that while the kit functions well overall, it does not deliver the clarity expected from higher-end products. Overall, the Samson DK705 Drum Mic Kit presents a practical solution for amateur and semi-professional drummers who need reliable performance without breaking the bank. Its value lies in its functionality and ease of use, making it a viable choice for musicians looking for cost-effective microphone solutions. **
