Brilliance Laser Inks, LLC offers metal markings only, but the experts are working on ceramics and glass marking products as well. The spray works on stainless steel, but not on gold or silver. It is not recommended to use it on white ceramic tiles or with diode lasers, as most diode lasers are too weak to work with the product. Customers have had mixed experiences with the spray. Some had issues with it washing off or not etching, while others found it easy to use and got vibrant black prints. It works well with fiber lasers, with power and speed settings of 10 Watt power, 50 mm/sec speed, Q-Frequency 200-500 (500KHz gives the best result), and a hatch or DPI of 0.1 mm. The product is considered a hazmat item and requires shipping papers, so people should not carry it in their check-in luggage while traveling.
