The pads Consist of an outer layer of PUL (Polyurethane laminated) fabric and bamboo charcoal fleece on the inside. Although the pads are not waterproof, one customer reported successfully wearing them for a short period in the lake. On heavy flow days, some customers may need to change the pads twice a day, compared to six disposable pads. While the pads may move differently than disposable pads, the adjustment is subtle and worth the tradeoff for an eco-friendly option.
