GigaParts Radio Antennas S-F40 Editorial Review
The Shark Antennas S-F40 Mono Band HF 40 Meter Mobile Vertical Antenna with 38x24 Threads, Handles 250W Max is a sturdy and effective antenna. According to reviews, it is easy to tune but an analyzer is recommended. Adding a small piece of metal acts like a capacity hat and makes it easy to tune. The antenna radiates well and is great for SSB, although it may not be as effective for digital modes. However, some users found it difficult to tune and couldn't get it to tune below 2:1 even with an antenna analyzer.
