E-ZShim Hinges HS350BP Editorial Review
The EZ-SHIM HS350BP 3.5" Hinge Shim 36 Pack is a product that can be used for any 3 1/2" tall hinge that sits in a jamb notch of 1 3/8" deep. Each shim is thinner than a credit card, but they can be stacked to accommodate a sizable gap in door alignment. Some customers have used it to align the plunger with the strike plate, but if the alignment is out of proportion, it may not make much difference. Customers who have purchased this product have had a good experience with it. They found it easy to install and have used it to adjust the gap and align the door with the strike plate. The product has been used to adjust the doors of old homes that have settled over time and for new doors that were installed incorrectly. Overall, the EZ-SHIM HS350BP 3.5" Hinge Shim 36 Pack seems to be a great product for those needing to adjust the alignment of their doors. **
