Answer: My initial success lasted about 3 months and my pizza stone broke at the repair site. It withstood 500 degrees for weeks. Upon investigation, the glue remained soft and I have repaired it again. My enthusiasm has wavered. -

Answer: I used it to seal the smoker. I did use it around screws also. Use it where heat can escape. -

Has anyone used this to attach a rope gasket to a smoker?
Answer: I have not used it on gaskets but I read on smokingmeatforums.com and a few other sites that if your gasket starts to fall off, use a little bit to attach. -

Can it handle the heat of sealing the exhaust blower motor on my pellet stove?
Answer: I am sure it could handle the heat BUT it is NOT intended to be used in an enclosed area. I used it on the exterior of a gas grill which is outside and it worked well. Hope this is helpful. -

Would this be ideal to fill in a few cracks on my outdoor clay pot fire pit?
Answer: I believe it could work as long as the sil-bond is used as a filler between parts and not a glue between parts. -

Is the finished (dried) color of this red?
