What is the capacity of the Bobrick B-822 Manual Liquid Soap Dispenser?

The Bobrick B-822 Manual Liquid Soap Dispenser has a liquid soap capacity of 34 fl oz, which is equivalent to 1 liter. This ample size makes it ideal for high-traffic areas such as public restrooms, where frequent refills can be inconvenient. By holding a significant volume of soap, it ensures that users have easy access to hand soap without constant maintenance needs. For instance, in busy facilities like shopping malls or office buildings, this dispenser can help maintain hygiene without interruptions.

How does the top fill feature work for the Bobrick B-822 dispenser?

The top fill feature of the Bobrick B-822 dispenser allows users to easily refill the soap from above without needing to detach the unit from the wall. This design minimizes downtime and reduces the hassle involved in maintenance. Simply unscrew the top cover, add the liquid soap, and secure it again. This is especially practical in settings like restaurants or hospitals, where maintaining cleanliness is critical, and staff may need to refill dispensers frequently.

Can the Bobrick B-822 dispenser be used with different types of liquid soap?

Yes, the Bobrick B-822 is compatible with various types of liquid soap, including antibacterial, moisturizing, and foaming soaps. This versatility makes it suitable for diverse environments, from residential bathrooms to commercial kitchens. It's important to ensure that the soap is compatible in viscosity to avoid clogs. For example, a restaurant may choose an antibacterial soap for its restroom to ensure guests have clean hands before dining.

What is the significance of the 4-inch free-turning spout?

The 4-inch free-turning spout on the Bobrick B-822 dispenser is designed to facilitate easy dispensing of soap. This feature prevents awkward angles or difficulty in accessing soap, making it user-friendly for everyone, including children and people with disabilities. Additionally, this spout design helps control the amount of soap dispensed, ensuring effective usage. In a busy public restroom, this means users can wash their hands quickly and efficiently, improving the overall hygiene experience.

Is the Bobrick B-822 suitable for outdoor use?

While the Bobrick B-822 is primarily designed for indoor use in public restrooms, it can be utilized in semi-outdoor environments such as patios or outdoor dining areas. However, it is essential to protect the dispenser from direct exposure to rain or extreme temperatures, as these factors could affect its functionality over time. For example, a café with outdoor seating might benefit from having a soap dispenser available, allowing patrons to maintain hygiene after enjoying their meals outside.

How do I install the Bobrick B-822 dispenser?

Installing the Bobrick B-822 dispenser involves securing it onto a flat surface, such as a wall or countertop, using the included mounting hardware. It is crucial to choose a location that’s easily accessible for users while also being inconspicuous enough to fit within the restroom's aesthetic. Ideal installation height is around the 36-inch mark from the floor. Once installed, simply fill it from the top as needed. An installation in a workplace restroom can encourage handwashing compliance among employees.

What materials is the Bobrick B-822 made from?

The Bobrick B-822 dispenser is constructed from durable, corrosion-resistant materials that ensure longevity and reliability. Its design typically features stainless steel or high-quality plastic that withstands frequent use and cleaning. The durable nature means that it can hold up well in various public environments, including schools, hospitals, and office buildings, maintaining both functionality and appearance over time.

What are the maintenance requirements for the Bobrick B-822 dispenser?

Maintenance of the Bobrick B-822 dispenser is straightforward. Regularly check the soap level to determine when a refill is needed and ensure that the nozzle is free of clogs. Cleaning can be performed using mild detergents and a soft cloth to prevent scratches on its surface. In a high-volume setting, such as a sports arena, routine upkeep can prevent issues and provide consistent hand hygiene for every visitor.
