SOLO Sprayers 475-B Editorial Review
The Solo 475-b Backpack Sprayer is a four-gallon diaphragm sprayer that is bleach resistant. The sprayer comes with a hose, wand with shut off, a couple of nozzles and a screen on the filler opening under the cap. It is a good backpack sprayer, and parts are readily available if needed. It is easily cleaned, and has a top filter screen that can be removed and washed. However, there are a few issues with the product. The pump handle to diaphragm does not connect, which means one has to fabricate a piece to make it work. The shoulder straps are of poor quality and not big enough to handle up to 40 lbs of weight. The trigger handle is cheaply made, broke after 5 or 6 uses and now leaks profusely. Lastly, it needs to be bigger for comfortable use.
