The Tama Imperialstar Complete Drum Set is a 6-piece set in Black Oak Wrap which includes hardware, cymbals, and heads. The hardware is decent quality, and the kick and hi-hat pedals are made by Tama, although not found on any of their current catalogs. The set comes with a basic Tama throne, a post cymbal stand, a boom cymbal stand, and a hi-hat stand with pedal, along with legs for the floor toms, feet for the bass drum, and a mount post and rods to connect the small toms to the bass drum. The Tama Imperialstar Complete Drum Set also features memory-lock nuts for both arms, plain Tama clear heads, Meinl HCS 20" ride, 16" crash, and 14" hi-hat cymbals. The kick drum has resin "accu-tune" hoops that are tightened with regular drum screws, and not metal hoops + claws. Although the throne is included, it might not be suitable for more than 180-200 lbs. Overall, the hardware is entry-level, but high quality, and the set provides good value for its price. While customers have been happy with the set and its longevity, the throne might not be comfortable for everyone.
