Knape & Vogt Drawer Slides 1805-101P Editorial Review
The KNAPE & VOGT MFG 1805-101P Rear Mounting Bracket for the 1805 Series Drawer Slides has garnered mixed reviews from customers, reflecting a varied experience with the product. Many users appreciate that the bracket serves as a suitable replacement for older models, such as the Merillat cabinet Replacement Drawer Socket, highlighting instances where it fit perfectly into existing cabinetry. The sturdiness of the brackets initially appears promising, although some customers expressed reservations about their durability based on previous experiences with broken units. However, there are notable concerns regarding the accuracy of the product description and provided dimensions. Several reviews indicated that the brackets did not match the images presented online, leading to complications in installation. In particular, discrepancies in design—such as the shape and hole configuration—resulted in frustration, with some reviewers receiving brackets that were incompatible with their existing setup. Additionally, a few customers criticized the lack of screws included with the purchase, prompting them to use old hardware instead. Overall, while the KNAPE & VOGT brackets can be effective for specific replacements, Prospective buyers should exercise caution regarding compatibility and be prepared for variations from the product images and descriptions. **
