Spode Judaica Sabbath Candlesticks, Set of 2 - Elegant Blue & White Ceramic Candle Holders Featuring Star of David & Floral Motifs - Fine Porcelain -

** Spode Judaica Sabbath Candlesticks - Set of 2** The Spode Judaica Sabbath Candlesticks are a beautiful addition to any collection, well-represented by the intricate design and aesthetic appeal which captures the essence of the Jewish tradition. However, while the design is certainly eye-catching, customer feedback highlights several practical challenges that may detract from their use in a typical Shabbat setting. Many customers have expressed disappointment regarding the functionality of the candlesticks, specifically mentioning that the openings are larger than standard Shabbat candles, which makes finding suitable candles a challenge. This has been noted by several reviewers, with some resorting to using museum wax to stabilize their candles. Additionally, the candlesticks' size has been described as impractical for regular use, with their "enormous" dimensions making them more suitable for decorative purposes rather than functional ones in the weekly observance of Shabbat. Moreover, there are concerns about the structure, as some customers noted that the base of the candlestick holders is disproportionately smaller than the top, leading to an awkward appearance. Despite these design flaws, many users do appreciate the overall beauty of the candlesticks, especially those who have collected other pieces from the Spode Judaica range. In summary, while the Spode Judaica Sabbath Candlesticks offer a striking visual statement and are admired for their beauty, potential buyers should keep in mind the practical issues regarding size and functionality that may impact their overall satisfaction and usability. **
