Nutritionist's Take
NOW Foods Sports Nutrition Egg White Protein is a high-quality protein supplement that provides 20 grams of protein per serving, complemented by branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs), which are beneficial for muscle recovery and growth. Derived from egg whites, it is a complete protein, meaning it contains all nine essential amino acids, making it suitable for muscle-building and repair. Additionally, the product is low in carbohydrates and fats, making it a favorable option for those on low-carb diets. However, the chocolate flavor may contain added sugars or artificial sweeteners, which could be a concern for individuals monitoring their sugar intake. Overall, this product is suitable for various dietary needs, including gluten-free and low-carb diets, but individuals with egg allergies should avoid it. Nutritionists generally view it as a healthy choice for those looking to boost their protein intake, especially for athletes and fitness enthusiasts.
