The QKOO Lens Hood for the GoPro Hero 9 Black is a useful tool to help reduce lens flare and reflections. Some customers have reported that it blocks some undesired ambient light, and helps keep raindrops off the lens. The material is solid, and the fit is tight, however, the hood does come off a little too easily. It doesn't function well if the camera is moving quickly but works great if moving slowly or stationary. It eliminates the purple cast when shooting into the sun and fits perfectly over Freewell ND filters without vignetting in linear mode. However, it does not work with super wide video mode, and some customers reported that the hood gets in the shot when using superview.
