Lectrotab Boating Editorial Review
In an editorial review of the LECTROTAB Trim Tab MLC-1 Manual Leveling Control, customers have expressed positive feedback about its compatibility with electric trim tab systems such as Lenco and Bennett Bolt. The MLC-1 controller is able to operate a Lenco or Bennett Bolt electric trim tab actuator connected to a single actuator per tab system. However, it is important to note that the MLC-1 is not compatible with the Bennett hydraulic actuator system. Customers have noted that for Lenco actuators, the actuator stroke time may need to be adjusted from the default 8 seconds to 4 seconds, which is easily done by following the instructions provided in the manual. Additionally, the black and white wire connections are reversed for Lenco, requiring the use of Lenco black wire instead of Lectrotab's white wire, and vice versa. Overall, customers have found the MLC-1 control to be reliable and compatible with their electric trim tab systems, praising its ease of use and effectiveness in adjusting the trim of their boats. The availability of the product manual on the Lectrotab website has also been appreciated, as it provides clear instructions for installation and configuration.
