CDI Electronics Electronic Ignition 113-2453 Editorial Review
The CDI Electronics 113-2453 Johnson/Evinrude Power Pack has received mixed reviews from customers. Many users found it easy to install and effective in fixing spark issues with their outboard engines. One customer mentioned that it worked well for their Johnson 9.9, while another reported success with their Evinrude 9.9 starting up on the first pull after installation. However, there were also negative reviews mentioning issues such as connectors not properly aligned, the power pack working temporarily and then failing, and difficulties with the plugs connecting properly. One user even went on to say that the CDI power pack was bad from the start and recommended investing in the more expensive OMC part instead. In summary, the CDI Electronics 113-2453 Johnson/Evinrude Power Pack seems to be a hit or miss product. While some customers had a positive experience with it, others faced issues that led them to seek alternative solutions. It appears that thorough inspection and proper installation are key factors in ensuring the product works effectively. **
