Chums 3mm Universal Adjustable Fit Rope Eyewear Retainer Strap, One Size - Realtree Max

The Chums 3mm Universal Fit Rope Retainer has garnered mixed reviews from customers who have interacted with the product. While some praise its functionality, others express disappointment regarding durability and length. Generally, users found the retainer adequate for holding their eyewear securely, especially for specific models like the ESS Suppressor glasses. However, longevity seems to be a recurring concern, as some customers reported that the grips failed to maintain their hold after several months of daily use. Customer feedback highlights that the retainer’s rubber ends fit snugly onto thinner eyeglass frames, yet many users believe it falls short in terms of overall length, feeling that a longer option would enhance usability. Additionally, while the product is functional, the perception of value is questioned, particularly given its price point relative to the materials used—essentially a piece of cord with rubber components. Moreover, the quick wear of the decal has been noted as an aesthetic concern. Interestingly, a suggestion arose in the reviews for customizable options, with users indicating a desire for standalone ends so they could create their own retainers using durable paracord. This reflects a potential gap in the market that could be beneficial for Consumers seeking more personalized or durable solutions. In summary, the Chums 3mm Universal Fit Rope Retainer serves its fundamental purpose but seems to fall short in longevity and value for money, prompting some customers to seek alternatives. **
