Nutritionist's Take
NOW Foods BerryDophilus™ offers a blend of 10 probiotic strains, delivering 2 billion CFUs per serving, which is beneficial for digestive health and can support gut microbiota balance. The inclusion of xylitol as a sweetener is a plus, as it provides a sugar alternative that doesn't spike blood sugar levels. Nutritionists appreciate the strain verification aspect, ensuring consumers know which strains are included and their health claims. However, the overall effectiveness can vary based on individual gut health and dietary habits. A potential drawback is the presence of xylitol, which might cause digestive discomfort in sensitive individuals or pets. This product is generally suitable for most diets, but those with specific allergies or sensitivities should read the label carefully. Overall, it can be a healthy choice for those looking to enhance their probiotic intake.
