What is NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Glitter Primer used for?

NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Glitter Primer is specifically designed to enhance the wear and adhesion of glitter and shimmer products. This primer provides a cohesive base that ensures your glitter eye shadows, loose glitter, or shimmer pigments adhere seamlessly to your eyelids, avoiding fallout throughout the day. By using this primer, you elevate your eye makeup look, making it vibrant and long-lasting—ideal for special occasions like parties, festivals, or photo shoots.

How do I apply the Glitter Primer effectively?

For optimal results, start by applying a small amount of the NYX Glitter Primer to your eyelids using your fingertip or a brush. Gently pat it onto the area where you desire to apply glitter. Wait a moment for it to become slightly tacky before applying your chosen glitter product. This technique locks in the glitter, creating stunning, eye-catching looks that are perfect for evenings out or event makeup, ensuring your sparkle stays in place.

Is the Glitter Primer suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes, NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Glitter Primer is formulated to be gentle yet effective, making it suitable for various skin types, including sensitive skin. Can I use the Glitter Primer with other makeup products?

Does the Glitter Primer dry clear?

Yes, NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Glitter Primer dries clear. This ensures that the underlying color of your eyelids remains unaffected, allowing the glitter and shimmer to shine through without an opaque base. The clear formula also makes it conducive for layering with different glitter colors, offering creative versatility in your eye makeup looks. It’s perfect for those who aim to create a customized, vibrant finish on their eyes.

Can I use this primer on areas other than my eyelids?

Yes, you can use the NYX Glitter Primer on other areas like your cheeks or body where you want to apply glitter or shimmer. It's great for adding sparkle to your cheekbones as highlighter or accentuating collarbones for a stunning look. Whether for a festival, a night out, or simply to add flair to your everyday makeup, this primer helps create an enchanting all-over glow.
