Answer: These are tempera paints that dry quick. They are not liquid like! Really good for sensory, nice and smooth! Loved them. -

Answer: Yes, these are great for that but keep in mind they dry quickly. -

Would they work on smooth rocks?
Answer: Yes, they would work on rocks. The tip is large like a glue stick so details would be lost.
