SPT Countertop Burners Editorial Review
The SPT SR-1885SS 1650W Induction cooktop is a convenient and efficient way to cook your meals. It has a maximum power Consumption of 1650W and requires a polarized 2-prong plug. The cookware should be at least 4" in diameter for better heat distribution. It does make a low humming noise but wouldn't bother you much. The induction cooktop is made of plastic housing and black glass top. Customers who have purchased the SPT SR-1885SS induction cooktop have vastly different experiences with it. Some have been using it every day for the past four years and claim that it works flawlessly. Others, however, are not as pleased with their purchase. Some customers have faced issues where the unit tripped their breaker and stopped responding to key presses, and others have faced overheating error and shutdown issues, leading them to return the product. Overall, if you're someone who understands how to use an induction cooktop and has a proper diameter cookware, this product could work well for you. But if you're looking for a product with sturdy material quality and reliability, it might be better to explore other options.
