Answer: I believe you are referring to the Hildbrandt Professional Set which comes with 4 machines: 1 coil liner, 1 coil shader, 1 rotary liner and 1 rotary shader. This product listing however is for the Hildbrandt Advanced Rotary Set, which comes with 1 rotary liner and 1 rotary shader. -

these run on a standard clip cord? or do i need to pick up a good rca cable?
Answer: Yes these machines run on standard clip cords. The 2 rotary machines have a clip cord connection and an RCA connector as well. -
Question:
Whats the difference between rotary guns and conventional guns?
Answer: Thank you for your inquiry. There are a couple of differences between the two machines, the major one being how it is built. With rotary machines, it runs on a motor, where as coil machines runs on two coils installed on the machines. Rotary machines are known to be quieter and hits more smoothly since it uses the rotation of cams that govern the rotation strokes on the machine. The bigger the cam, the larger the rotation and thus the longer it takes for the needle to hit the skin. Bigger cams are great for shading work. Smaller cams because of the it hitting faster is great for lining and color packing. Rotary machines also does not require any tuning, but cannot be adjusted for customization. Coil machines are known for their adjustment capabilities. They are the old traditional machines that allows an artist to customize to their perfect machine. You are able to take apart everything from armature bar, coils, contact screw, and really make it your own. These machines are favored by artists that know exactly what needle groupings they like using so they can tailor a machine to just those needle groupings, making them run smoother, predictable and more reliable than any other machines. Coil machines do require basic tuning to run. -
