Plantronics Headsets OEM Editorial Review
The Plantronics RIG Flex Gaming Headset has garnered a mixed reception among users, with notable strengths and weaknesses highlighted in customer feedback. Many users commend the headset for its robust build quality, with substantial comfort levels allowing for extended gaming sessions without discomfort. The sound quality also receives praise, particularly for the clarity and volume, enabling gamers to experience audio cues, such as footsteps, with impressive accuracy. Users appreciate the dual mic options and note their effectiveness in both gaming and music listening scenarios. However, several criticisms have emerged regarding Consistency and functionality. A recurring issue involves the reliability of the 3.5mm connection, with complaints about sound distortion when the jack is moved even slightly. Further frustrations relate to missing accessories that were advertised, particularly the lack of an audio splitter or inline microphone, leaving some users unable to utilize the headset's full potential. While many find them a great value for the price, others express concerns about durability and longevity, with reports of malfunction after a few months of use. In conclusion, the Plantronics RIG Flex Gaming Headset is appreciated for its overall sound quality, comfort, and build, particularly given the budget price point. Yet potential buyers should be aware of possible accessory omissions and reliability issues. **
