Samyang SLR Camera Lenses SYXP85-C Editorial Review
Samyang SYXP85 XP 85mm F1.2 Full Frame High-Speed Lens for Canon EF is a prime lens known for its remarkable image quality and sharpness, especially at wide open f/1.2 settings. Many users have praised its performance on Canon R5, asserting that it rivals Canon's own esteemed 85mm f/1.2 lens. The lens benefits from integrated firmware, making it manageable for advanced Canon features. However, it's worth noting that the lens may not perform well with all camera models, and users have reported concerns regarding firmware updates affecting functionality. This lens is ideally suited for those who can handle manual focusing and appreciate its robust construction and detailed output, despite its heft and complexity for beginners.
