Nutritionist's Take
Hibiclens Antiseptic/Antimicrobial Skin Cleanser is primarily designed for cleansing the skin and preventing infections, rather than providing nutritional benefits. It contains chlorhexidine gluconate, an effective antiseptic used in healthcare settings. While not a food product, it serves a critical purpose in maintaining skin hygiene, especially for patients preparing for surgery or those prone to infections. However, overuse can disrupt the natural skin microbiome, leading to potential skin irritation or allergies. Additionally, it is not suitable for individuals with certain sensitivities or those looking for natural skincare options. Nutritionists generally recommend its use as a health and hygiene measure rather than a nutritional product.
