coolerguys Racks & Cabinets Editorial Review
The Coolerguys Pre-Set Thermal Controlled Cooling Kit is a great addition to any cabinet, AV component, or tower computer. With three 120mm fans that can be configured in any direction, this kit can provide up to 90CFM airflow for effective cooling. The latest version of the thermal controller is included, although it does not have an on/off switch. It is also noted that there is a clearance of at least one inch required behind the cabinet for sufficient airflow. The power supply is a 12VDC wall wart, and it can also be connected directly to a 12V DC battery. Customer reception of this product has been mixed. Some have praised its performance, ease of installation, and professional appearance. Others have reported issues with missing components, poor quality assurance, and noisy fans that could be heard from up to ten feet away.
