Jacquard Pearl Ex Pigment Powder 4oz Brilliant Gold - Loose Mica Powder for Epoxy Resin, Watercolors, Calligraphy Ink & Clay - Epoxy Pigment Powder -

The Jacquard Pearl-Ex Pigment is a versatile and vibrant product that allows users to achieve a metallic or pearlescent effect in their crafts. With a 5-ounce jar available in the Apple Green shade, this pigment is perfect for adding a pop of color and shimmer to a variety of projects. One of the standout features of this product is its compatibility with epoxy resin. Users can mix the pigment with the hardener for the desired color depth, then blend it with the resin for more working time. This makes it a great choice for creating stunning resin art pieces or jewelry. While the FAQ section didn't provide much information about using the pigment in other applications, such as dlp/sla 3D printers or smoke deployment devices, it did confirm its excellent performance in epoxy resin. Although the lightfast rating was not explicitly mentioned in the Q&A, according to the Jacquard website, the Pearl-Ex powders have extreme colorfastness and stability. It's important to note that this pigment may not be suitable for making watercolor paint, as it is highly pigmented and sparkly. However, it might still work with a very small amount of mica in the water. Unfortunately, there was no definitive answer regarding the compatibility of the pigment with CA glue or silicone. While one user found success with using the pigment in Linseed Oil for oil paintings, it may require some experimentation to determine if it works with other materials. Overall, the Jacquard Pearl-Ex Pigment in Apple Green is a high-quality product that delivers a stunning metallic or pearlescent effect in craft projects. Its compatibility with epoxy resin makes it a standout choice for resin artists looking to add a touch of shimmer to their creations.
