Action & Adventure Editorial Review
Blue Seed - Prelude to Sacrifice Vol. 3 is a captivating animated series that intricately blends Japanese mythology with action and character development. It follows the journey of a young girl, Momiji, who discovers her life is intertwined with the powerful auragami spirits that threaten humanity. This volume comprises episodes 15-20, presented in both English dubbed and Japanese with subtitles, offering great accessibility for viewers. The story’s exploration of complex themes, alongside humorous 'Omake Theatres', enriches the viewer's experience. The animation reflects its vintage charm, even if the quality is somewhat grainy due to its age. Fans particularly appreciate the improvement in English voice acting throughout the series, making it a worthy addition to one's anime collection.
