Fernco Pipe Fittings Editorial Review
Fernco DWV 2 In. x 1-1/2 In. Sewer and Drain PVC Iron Pipe Hub Adapter - 1 Each is an essential component for adapting PVC to cast iron seamlessly. Users have praised its effectiveness, noting that it fits perfectly when lubricated prior to installation, ensuring a snug connection. However, it's important to clarify that this adapter is designed specifically for the hub end of a cast iron soil pipe, which can lead to confusion for those expecting it to fit into a standard 2-inch pipe. Instructions suggest applying lubricant like petroleum jelly for successful fitting, and many reviewers have shared positive experiences with its performance and compatibility.
