Answer: Although I purchased my 6 point 67mm star filter for my Nikon digital D7100, I see no reason why it would not work on a film camera, provided the lens you are using has threads to accept it. I was a little disappointed with the 6 point filter because I found it to be too many rays of light for my use. I am now considering a 4 point star filter.
