How often should I apply ADAMS Plus Yard Spray?
Answer: For best results, reapply every 4 weeks. -

Can I use this spray around my garden?
Answer: Yes, it is safe to use on flowers and shrubs. -

Is it safe for pets after application?
Answer: Yes, pets can return to treated areas once dry. -
Question:
Will it harm birds, bees, butterflies, etc.?
Answer: Permethrin, the active ingredient, is toxic to bees. Don't use on flowering plants or trees. I use it after dusk when the bees are asleep. -
Question:
This says adult ticks.. what about the babies that are out now?
Answer: It worked on all the ticks and fleas in our yard last year and we had them bad! -
Question:
How long does the treatment last for?
Answer: I typically treat two to three times a summer. The first treatment should be followed by a second treatment after 10 days to kill the eggs that survived. The second and third treatments should handle the fleas for the rest of the season. -
Question:
When do you spray the yard? At night or in the morning?
Answer: You can spray the yard either at night after the pets are asleep or in the morning. Just make sure to keep the animals off the yard for at least 24 hours after spraying. -
Question:
I think the sprayer is not mixing the spray, how can I fix it?
Answer: Next time, try mixing it in a 2 gallon pressurized spray bottle at the proper ratio with water. This way, you can be sure that the dosage doesn't change while spraying. -
Question:
Does the bottle empty out as you spray it? I sprayed for about 10 minutes but the bottle is still full.
Answer: The bottle should empty out as you spray. However, if you are experiencing this issue, you might have received defective bottles. Consider contacting the seller for a replacement or refund. -
Question:
Why doesn't the spray work? I spent 30 minutes and nothing but water!
Answer: Make sure you have set the blue dial on the sprayer to the 'spray' setting, not the 'water' setting. There are two settings on the blue dial, so ensure it is on the correct one. -
Question:
If the sprayer doesn't work, can I transfer it to an Ortho Dial 'N Spray bottle? How many ounces per gallon should I set it to?
Answer: If both bottles are about the same size, you can transfer the spray to the Ortho Dial 'N Spray bottle without diluting it. -
Question:
Does the spray kill frogs?
Answer: Yes, the spray is hazardous to frogs and can kill them. The label recommends calling a poison control center if it gets on your clothing. It is also harmful to humans and pets. -
Question:
How many bottles would I need for a small/average sized front yard? Also, how effective is it for fleas?
Answer: For a small/average sized front yard, 1 bottle should be enough. The product is highly effective in killing fleas and has provided immediate results in killing all it touches.
