Movo Microphone Cables MC3 Editorial Review
The Movo MC3 3.5mm TRS to TRRS Adapter seems to have mixed reception among customers. Reviewers have been mostly positive about the product, with some users stating that they successfully utilized the adapter to record audio on mobile devices with external microphones. However, some others have claimed that the adapter blocked the signal from their microphones and did not work correctly. It appears that the adapter can work for recording music or live performances via a mixer to a smartphone, connecting a stereo electronic drums output to be recorded on an iPhone while recording a video, or to connect a mono microphone to a smartphone. One reviewer suggests using a splitter cable instead for the Galaxy S8 smartphone. The adapter might pass through discreet L and R audio channels, but it's unclear how to wire it to achieve the desired result. Overall, some customers have found the Movo MC3 convenient and affordable, with an identical performance to what was advertised, but others have experienced issues where the adapter doesn't work as desired.
