SIEMENS QF260A 60 Amp, 2 Pole, 120/240V Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter with Self Test Feature

**** The Siemens 60 Amp Double Pole GFCI Breaker has received widespread praise from customers looking to replace faulty or inadequate circuit breakers in their homes, particularly for use in hot tub setups. Many users reported finding success with the installation, noting that it performed efficiently and resolved ongoing issues with breakers that frequently tripped. For instance, a customer mentioned swapping out an ABB breaker that would trip daily for the Siemens model, leading to a trouble-free operation. Installation simplicity is a common theme among positive reviews, with many users indicating that the breaker fit well in their electrical panels, although some advised potential buyers to check compatibility carefully due to variances in size across manufacturers. This attention to size is crucial since the breaker is slightly longer than standard models, which some more experienced DIYers found necessary to account for when planning their installation, especially when dealing with heavier gauge wires. However, there are some caveats. A few customers found that the breaker didn’t fit their existing GFCI boxes, emphasizing the importance of verifying specifications before purchasing. Additionally, there are limitations regarding the wire gauge it can support; specifically, if using heavy gauge wires, that could pose an installation challenge given the restricted space once the breaker is installed. Overall, users seem satisfied with the functionality, reliability, and value of the Siemens GFCI breaker, making it a commendable choice for those needing a solid solution for high-demand appliances like hot tubs. **
