Thexton THE490 Back Probe Kit

** Thexton THE490 Back Probe Kit** The Thexton THE490 Back Probe Kit is designed for automotive enthusiasts and professionals who require efficient access to connectors and harnesses for voltage measurements. The feedback from users generally acknowledges the kit’s utility in tight spaces where traditional probing would be cumbersome. Users appreciate its primary functionality of back probing, especially when tackling car diagnostics independently. However, there are notable concerns regarding the kit's design and packaging. Many customers expressed disappointment at the price point, which they felt was excessive for a set of short probes that come without an included storage container, contrary to what is depicted in promotional images. This has led to frustrations, as users end up needing to invest additional money into proper storage solutions. Moreover, some users reported that the probes themselves could be short for certain applications, leading to difficulties when trying to probe connectors without removing insulation. Despite these criticisms, several users recommend the product for its practicality and effectiveness when troubleshooting automotive issues. Overall, while the Thexton THE490 Back Probe Kit serves its purpose well, potential buyers should weigh its price against the possibility of creating DIY alternatives, given that simpler methods for back probing could also suffice. **
