UCO Matches Green Editorial Review
This Match Kit is a waterproof container that holds matches and provides a water-sealed compartment for safekeeping. As per the FAQ, the Match Kit's shelf life is at least several decades as long as it remains sealed. The container is water-resistant and floats, but matches still require a dry striker to ignite. Moreover, it is a must-have for any prepper's emergency stash. It can hold matches of size 2 3/4". Submerging the matches in water will extinguish them. The container can also fit two AA batteries, but it cannot accommodate two batteries deep. Some customers commented on the extra space inside the container, and the replacement strikers that come with it. However, some noted that the striker could have been of better quality.
