Borderlands: The Handsome Edition for PlayStation 4 offers a smooth 60FPS upgrade but players still suffer from texture pop-ins and delays. The game includes all of the DLC on the disc except for the Claptastic Voyage and Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2 which are available for download and can be quite large. Co-op gameplay allows each player to use their own profile, but split-screen requires a guest profile. The game can accommodate up to 4 players. Unfortunately, PC saves cannot be transferred to PlayStation 4. Despite some questionable weapon designs, Borderlands 2 is vastly superior to the pre-sequel and offers an entertaining and enjoyable first-person shooter experience. Reviewers appreciate having both games and all DLCs in one collection. However, there are reports of poor packaging, damaged case, and trigger-inducing loot sharing issues when playing with friends.
