Sanitaire Upright Vacuums SC899H Editorial Review
The Sanitaire SC899H SC899 Tradition QuietClean Upright Vacuum in Red is a heavy-duty machine designed for commercial use. It is known for its strong suction power and is particularly effective on flat glue-down carpets, making it a time-saver for cleaning large spaces like apartment hallways. The front height adjustment is an important feature to prevent damage to the carpet and prolong the life of the rubber belts. This vacuum is not recommended for shag or plush carpets. It is easy to change the belts, bag, and roller brush for added convenience. Some customers have reported issues with the belt getting hot and breaking after a few uses, and there have been complaints about the overall durability of the machine. However, many customers have found this vacuum to be effective and have praised its suction power. Overall, the Sanitaire SC899H SC899 Tradition QuietClean Upright Vacuum is a heavy-duty option suitable for commercial use.
