WIX WL10290 Oil Filter Replacement, Built for Synthetic and High Mileage Oil - Compatible With Various GM (13-19)

The WIX FILTR LD WL10290 Full-Flow Spin-On Lube Oil Filter is a popular choice among customers, with mixed reviews on its compatibility and overall performance. One customer shared their positive experience, stating that they used this filter on their 2018 Subaru Crosstrek with no issues. They were pleased with the performance, especially since their preferred brand was out of stock. However, another customer had a negative experience with this filter. They mentioned that it was not compatible with their Subaru and suspected that it was a previously used return. They noticed a strong smell from the filter and received confirmation from a parts merchant that it was meant for GM vehicles. Another reviewer used this filter on their 1.4L turbo Cruze and had no issues other than it getting tighter over time, making it difficult to remove. There was also a comment about the size number system of Wix filters being confusing. A customer mentioned that they had to contact WIX directly to get confirmation on the correct size for their Malibu, which caused some doubt. Some customers also mentioned concerns about the shipping of the filter. It was noted that the filter should be shipped in a box rather than a bag, as a few customers received their filters with dents. However, these dents were deemed insignificant and did not affect the filter's performance. Overall, the WIX FILTR LD WL10290 Full-Flow Spin-On Lube Oil Filter receives mixed reviews from customers. While some had positive experiences, others faced compatibility issues and raised concerns about the size number system and packaging.
