Rosewill WiFi Adapter/Wireless Adapter/PCI-E Network Card, 802.11AC Dual Band AC1300 PCI Express Network Adapter

The Rosewill Wireless N300 PCI-E WiFi Adapter has garnered a mixed but generally positive reception among users over the years. Many long-term users praise its performance, claiming that it continues to work well even after more than a decade of use. The adapter is highlighted for its ease of installation, as it typically connects smoothly to PCI-Express slots without significant hassle. Users have reported a significant improvement in network performance when switching from older cards, enjoying reliable connections and good reception, especially with dual-band routers. Despite these positives, certain users experienced initial connectivity issues when setting up the device, including an inability to connect to WiFi networks, which led to frustration. Troubleshooting this issue sometimes required reinstalling drivers or adjusting system settings, indicating that beginners might struggle more than experienced users. Another common concern includes the physical design of the antennas, which are noted to easily detach from their bases. Some users have found makeshift solutions, such as using tape to secure the antennas, which detracts from the overall premium feel of the product. Warranty service can also be an area of contention; some users reported inconvenient processes associated with returning malfunctioning cards without being offered replacements during processing periods. This could potentially lead customers to pass on their initial investment altogether if replacement options are not desirable. Overall, while the Rosewill Wireless N300 PCI-E WiFi Adapter has demonstrated reliable performance with an impressive longevity, the experience varies from user to user, particularly regarding setup and support. **
