The Denby Stoneware Salad Plates come in a package of four and measure 8.25” in diameter. Although they are sturdy and have a good glaze, some plates in the package have defects that make them rough and sharp. The edges are not smooth, and there are protruding spots that appear to be a result of bad workmanship. Although the defects don't look like damages, they are still unacceptable for stoneware that's expected to be of good quality from Denby. Be cautious when stacking with other dishes as the imperfections may scratch the plate below.
