** Gibraltar 6711DB Dual Chain Double CAM Drive Double Bass Drum Pedal** The Gibraltar 6711DB Dual Chain Double Bass Drum Pedal has garnered a range of feedback from customers, with many praising its performance and overall quality. Musicians appreciate the pedal's blend of aesthetics and functionality—many agree that it provides a fast, smooth action that feels comfortable in use. Its essential features appeal to those looking for straightforward, effective equipment, positioning it as a competitive alternative to higher-end models like the DW 3000. However, the pedal is not without its challenges. Some users have reported issues with the round connection piece where the rod meets the pedals, citing a tendency to slip even when tightened adequately. This has raised concerns for those who rely on the pedal for live performances. Additionally, while the pedal boasts multiple adjustments, some customers found the setup process frustratingly complex—compounded by the lack of an instruction manual. Tension adjustments were noted as particularly tricky, which may deter some new drummers from fully utilizing the pedal's potential. Despite these drawbacks, many customers recognize the Gibraltar 6711DB as a solid choice for mid-priced gear, stating that it holds up well against competitors in the same market segment. Overall, while it presents some quirks in setup and usage, its performance, design, and value for the price continue to earn it a respectable reputation among percussionists. **
