Nutritionist's Take
NOW Foods Supplements Acai Liquid offers a convenient source of antioxidants and vitamins from acai berries, which are known for supporting immune function and overall health. Its liquid form may enhance absorption compared to powdered supplements. However, some nutritionists question the 'super fruit' label, emphasizing that a balanced diet with a variety of fruits and vegetables is crucial for optimal health. The ingredient quality appears high, but consumers should be cautious of added sugars or preservatives that could negate some health benefits. While suitable for most dietary needs, including vegan diets, individuals with specific fruit allergies should consult a healthcare professional. Overall, it can be a healthy addition to a diet but should not replace whole food sources of nutrients.
NOW Blended Vitamin & Mineral Supplements 4804 Editorial Review
This acai super fruit concentrate has received generally positive reviews with most customers raving about its health benefits and the taste. A few reviewers, however, seem to have had a less than enthusiastic encounter with the product, describing its taste as similar to cough syrup. Some others complain of green clumps in the concentrate. It is observed that the product is a free radical scavenger and supports the immune system. The instructions suggest taking one tablespoon two to three times daily, directly or mixed with water or juice. Each serving size is about a teaspoon with very little sugar and just 20 calories per serving. There are no added sugars to this concentrate, only natural sugar. It is a gluten-free product.
