What makes MUNGYO Professional Pastel Paper Pad suitable for oil and dry pastels?

The MUNGYO Professional Pastel Paper Pad is specially designed with a textured surface that enhances the performance of both oil and dry pastels. This texture allows for better grip of the pastel pigments, which results in vibrant colors and less smudging. Artists appreciate the way the paper accommodates layering and blending, enabling them to achieve a wide variety of artistic effects. Whether you are creating bold strokes or subtle gradients, this paper helps bring your artistic vision to life.

How many sheets are in the MUNGYO Professional Pastel Paper Pad?

The MUNGYO Professional Pastel Paper Pad contains 30 sheets, making it a great choice for artists who want to experiment with various techniques. Each sheet is A4 size, providing ample space to explore creativity. This quantity ensures you have enough paper for multiple projects, whether you're practicing or working on a finished piece. The diverse assortment of colors allows for endless creative possibilities, catering to both beginners and seasoned artists alike.

Is the paper in the MUNGYO Pastel Pad acid-free?

Yes, the MUNGYO Professional Pastel Paper Pad is made from acid-free paper. This characteristic is crucial for artists because it helps preserve the vibrancy of the pastels and prevents yellowing over time. Acid-free paper is ideal for creating artworks that are intended for long-lasting display or archival storage. The longevity of your artwork can be significantly increased when using materials that do not compromise the quality over time.

Can I use other mediums on this pastel paper?

While the MUNGYO Professional Pastel Paper Pad is specifically formulated for oil and dry pastels, it can also accommodate other mediums like colored pencils and charcoal. How do I prevent smudging when using this pastel paper?

To prevent smudging when using the MUNGYO Professional Pastel Paper Pad, it’s advisable to work from the top of your artwork downward, and to use fixatives designed for pastels. This helps keep your artwork clean and vibrant throughout the creative process.
