Answer: You have to contact the seller. If it is a manufacturing defect, they may provide a replacement. The hook I ordered came in good condition and is very useful. -

Is the hook supposed to be loose?
Answer: The hook is designed for use in any 1/4" air fitting. It may or may not be loose depending on the brand and style of the gun you use. One tip is to install a thick washer on top and tighten until snug. -

Answer: I am sure you can find it elsewhere. I changed the fitting when I got mine to a non-swivel straight fitting. I just took the one off the tool I was putting this on and used it in place of the one that came with this hook.
